Freedom and Free Enterprise

For the truly free American, those who don't want to be told what to do or how to live! For those Americans who will not controlled by their passions or desires, free enterprise is inseparable to their American pursuit of happiness! For those Americans where virtue is paramount, financial debt is closely tied to SLAVERY! Unacceptable! Debt slavery infringes on the very soul and spirit of freedom!  I have to use the "C" word here carefully, capitalism, is the greatest system of wealth creation the world has ever seen!
Capitalism isn't perfect but still needs to evolve into the 21's century. Ford's Model T was a great idea and system of operation but hasn't the Ford automobile seen some improvements in the last 100 years! Same with free enterprise! It has to evolve into a better wealth creation system.
Here's how free enterprise has worked out to a 64 year old house painter. At 13 years old, start as an apprentice and learn the trade for 10+ years. Grab a paint brush a paint a house! Great, a week or two later, make some money. I want to make more money, I don't have to ask any one's permission, I hire some help and paint 2 houses a week. Systematize the process, paint 4-6 house a week with only 8-10 hours of my time invested per week and quadruple my income in the process. About 37 years after starting the simple process, the whole operation is running itself, this equals FREEDOM! Where can any moron do that with a high school diploma and DESIRE? Only in the land of opportunity, the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever seen,  United States of America!

Pursuit of Happiness?

Hey America! How's that "Pursuit of Happiness" been working out lately? My wife Sandy and I have been blest with an extraordinary lifestyle. We have traveled all of North America 8 times via motor coach. Our neighbors and backyard, is the whole country. Happiness or "Joy" is not what we see on a lot of in the people's faces! Without the pursuit of virtue, the American ideals of government become absurd.  America still has the ability to blow the mind of the rest of world. Our situation seems dire and financial accounting impossible, yet all this can change because true Americans can rise up and CHANGE!
Impossible is not American! Focusing on personal virtue and NOT all the problems will make solving the problems a piece of cake. When the Spirit of Freedom is re-ignited and we the people free ourselves from our slavery to our passions, our perception of reality will change.
There is always a cost to change! I will attempt to avoid the "D" and use the term "self-control".
There is no other away. Pursuing our passions without self-control leads to "Frustration" as again Mic Jagger said "I Can't Get No Satisfaction". The pursuit of personal virtue is the only way to find harmony through freedom. We just can't let slavery take over our country! I very often feel like I'm in the desert alone screaming FREEDOM and no  one is listening.

Govenrnents Love Slavery

Yes, governments love slavery! Especially democracies! Why would I say that? In super democracy, like America, the government was created by the people and controlled by the people. So when the PEOPLE abandon their awareness of the concept of virtue and enslave themselves to he multitude of human passions they enslave themselves. It's a government paradise! The politicians give the PEOPLE what the perceive they want. Politicians don't even have to say the truth! Government loves it! The government gets more power and job security without worrying about the PEOPLE asking questions. An enslaved people want and believe a higher power will save them and give what they perceive they need! In this case, that higher power is the GOVERNMENT!
Some if you will say this is nuts! Think about it! A free person and a slave have two different perceptions of reality! Two different worlds! A slave's "Pursuit of Happiness" will be different than a free person. Want to be free? Return to virtue on a personal level! Maybe the creation of so many churches in America was for a reason other that enhancing the beauty of the countryside?
